Just as the sun takes its place in the sky on a summer day, or the bear takes its slumber in winter, so must we take our place in sharing Jesus with others. Did you know the Bible tells us to love our enemies as ourselves and to do good to those who hurt us? It seems impossible at times, but when we obey God we fulfill a specific space He’s placed us in at that exact time. Each one of us has gifts unique to us. Can you guess what happens when we don’t use them? Pastor Holland talks about this in his message today.

Who am I? Where do I belong? What gifts are unique to me? These are all questions I’ve asked myself at one time or another as I try to find my place in this world. I know I’m not alone in this. We can look at machinery and see how each part works with another to get the job done. The same could be said about the human body and earth systems. You see, God has uniquely created each one of us and given us purpose. Today Pastor Holland describes how some of us take our place and others do not.

To be a child of God, you must be born-again! Today, you learn from Pastor Holland’s message that all children of God have been re-born into that family. Every person on earth is born as a sinner, which is why Christ came to save. He loves everyone. He doesn’t desire for anyone to perish, but for all to receive eternal life through Him. Pastor Holland explains that to receive eternal life, you must receive Jesus as your Savior. When you do, you enter into the family of God. This is what it means to be born-again. Receive Jesus!

What are some of the areas in your life where God has brought you victory? As you listen to today’s message from Pastor Holland he encourages you to recount the areas of victory in your life. Where are the times that you wondered if you’d ever make it through? Pastor Holland urges you to reflect upon those and thank the Lord for His provision during that time. Maybe take a handful of rocks and write upon them each victory God has led you through. These will be your remembrance stones of God’s goodness.

What are some unhealthy emotional responses? Pastor Holland reveals in today’s message that avoidance, silent treatment, and lashing out are a few examples of what it looks like to be emotionally unhealthy. It doesn’t take real long to see many of these displayed within our culture today. However, Pastor Holland encourages you that the more you surrender your will to the Lord, the more He can help you on the path to wholeness. God desires for you to be whole in all areas of your life.
